Ancient Egypt History

Ancient Egypt History is full of power struggles, fantastic engineering feats, improvements in writing and art, and more.

From about 3100 B.C. to 30 B.C., Ancient Egypt in North Africa was one of the area’s most potent and influential societies. It left behind numerous monuments, documents, and works of art that continue to be studied by scholars today.

But Egyptian civilization was around long before this time and has lived on and grown since then. Egypt is still a country even though its rulers, language, writing, climate, religion, and borders have all changed many times over the millennia.

Ancient Egypt was very connected to other parts of the world. Goods, religions, food, people, and ideas came from Egypt. At times, ancient Egypt ruled the land that is now in Sudan, Cyprus, Lebanon, Syria, Israel, and Palestine. It did this by controlling land that is now in these countries.
